Muzzle Loading Rifle Shoot (Annual Groundhog Shoot) |  | The Annual Groundhog Shoot is held on the first Saturday of February. Sign-in and Sight-in begin at 12:00pm. Competition begins at 1:00pm. Competition consists of eight rounds of shooting with prizes awarded for the first three places of each round. At the end of the eight rounds, the overall winner is awarded. |  | | The Inaugural Groundhog Shoot in 2006 awarded hand made prizes to the contestants. All of the hand made prizes were crafted by Mike DeVries of Kenowa Industries in Holland. Some of the targets that were shot at during the 2006 Groundhog Shoot are shown below. | | | Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2009 for a fun afternoon of Traditional Firearms Shooting. You may shoot any muzzle loading firearm, but you must fire a patched round ball using iron sights regardless of the firearm you are using. Join us on the range at noon on the 7th. The club and ranges are located at 9279 Ottogan St. on the south side of Zeeland. |
