The Chick-Owa Sportsman’s Club hosts special events throughout the year. Events that we have hosted in the past include CMP Clinics, Bowling Pin Shoots, 200yd Fun Rifle Shoots, Live Fire Timeline Events, Muzzle Loading Rifle Shoots (Annual Groundhog Shoot – February), National Hunting and Fishing Day Celebration, Family Fun Day and Chicken BBQ, Hunting and Fishing Tournaments, Teen Trap Shooting, and Educational Programs.
Our Special Events at The Chick-Owa Sportsman’s Club are special because we focus on family participation and we keep the cost down through sponsorships. By keeping the cost down, it is possible for the entire family to enjoy participation in these events. When the entire family enjoys participation in outdoor activities they are more likely to stay involved for generations to come. Come out and join us for some family fun and “Pass on the Heritage that has been passed on to you”.
Plans are being made to add to our schedule: The SRP (Scholastic Rifle Program), regular Scholastic Trap Shooting Competitions, Action Pistol Shoots, and a regular Family Night for folks to get to know each other. Through these new programs and our existing programs, we hope to build interest in the Traditional Outdoor Sports and enhance the experiences of those who try it for the first time. |
