Anyone having current luck with the ducks or geese?

My son and I will be heading to the todd farm saturday to try for geese. Dont forget saturday is for youth only.

Well we made it to the farm, we got a great draw, we were drawn 14th out of 75 parties. At about 9:30 Cody made a great shot on a goose passing overhead. That was his one and only chance for the day. We also got checked by a co and he found everything in order. We had a great morning.

Congrats to Cody. The farm has been slow this week for geese, there are still quite a few ducks still hanging around.

A grass roots campaign is being started to try and have the zone 3 duck season run later than the season this year. We are trying to do this by either have the season start later or by making the split longer, therefore the season would run longer. The other would be to change the boundries for zone 2 to include Saginaw Bay and surrounding area. The last option is going to be the most difficult. The _object_ is to get enough interested parties involved and letting their CWAC rep. know they want a later season in zone 3.
